Cosy little place with good, pan-Asian food in generous portions. Service was friendly and the food arrived quickly. They were happy to provide a take away container when my son couldn't finish his meal. We enjoyed our visit and would happily go again.

The shredded crispy chicken was really tasty and full of flavour. Great portion sizes, just the right amount of food for an evening meal. The staff were really friendly and shared helpful menu recommendations

A friend of mine found this place while googling places to eat around Liverpool. From the menu, it looked like a mix of Chinese, Korean and Japanese food available. So we decided to give it a try.

It is a small and quaint place which was not easy to find at first. It is pretty cozy and just a tad away from the busy Bold Street.

The food were pretty good, service was quite fast and the staff was friendly. We ordered Pan Fried dumplings (didn't take the photo sorry), Crispy Salt & Pepper Tofu, also Korean Sweet Spicy Chicken Wings for sharing appetisers. They are taste good, though I think what arrived was the salt & pepper chicken wings. But not giving too much fuss about it.

The Bibimbap however was quite different from the Bibimbap I had before in other places. I wouldn't say it's bad, just different.

The mango sticky rice was good.

Bao and Bap is always my to-go restaurant when thinking of Asian food. I always come here after work for good food with my colleagues. I recommend salt and pepper crispy tofu for starters. The tofu is perfectly fried with salt and pepper as a seasoning, nothing to say much, it’s just perfect on its own. For the main, I always go for Beef brisket (spicy) noodle, always go for hand-made noodle. The beef is so tender, no need to chew ?. The soup is yummy, it’s just about right for me and not too spicy nor salty. Another main to recommend is Spicy pork rib with rice; the rib is so tender and their sauce is so good. When you eat with rice, it’s just perfect. Recommended ?

A small authentic Asian restaurant. We had salt and pepper squid, vegetable dumplings and each had our selection of a Bibimbap, both with the spicy sauce. It was lovely.

Amazing food and great flavour with good size portions. Staff were all lovely and friendly. I would recommend to anybody around the area looking for pan Asian cuisine selection. The beef ribs were soft and juicy and the other dishes were also great all at reasonable prices. Only managed to take a photo of the Korean fried chicken wings, but I am definitely going again 🙂

Really nice little place. A little hidden, but worth looking for. It's a tiny little cafe, serving properly authentic casual Asian food. Really nice noodle dishes - so much flavour, and the spicy dishes are really nice and hot. Highly recommend the beef noodles.
I'll definitely be back here - it's perfect for a quick bite to eat.

Authentic grub, and lovely staff. They actually brought more dumplings out to us because the chef wasn’t happy with how they’d prepare the order, which was a lovely thing to do.

My recommendation is the Korean wings, which are to die for. This place does really good bibimbap too!

We will be coming back!
