Naturally even the words spine surgery makes anyone nervous. After seeing Dr. D’Amore the first time he put me at ease with his knowledge and professionalism.

I had a cage “installed” in my spine which believe it or not within days of the surgery the pain running down my legs was gone. I am 3 months post surgery and feel awesome!

Follow ups with Dr. D’Amore we’re fantastic and he genuinely cares and takes the time to answer questions.

I quickly realized in today’s modern world this type of surgery is routine. Simply search YouTube and you will find many patients who have gone through spine surgery and explain the ins and outs.

To sum up my experience with Orthopedic Center of South Florida - excellent .

I cannot express enough my gratitude to Dr. D’Amore. I had to have an ACD&F (Anterior Cervical Discectomy & Fusion). Dr. D’Amore took his time, explained what he saw on my x-Ray, explained the procedure, what to expect, what it entails, and what the results could be. He thoroughly explained possible complications, and long term effects as well as the statistics of complications happening. Before surgery, he explained the procedure to me again, made sure all my questions and families questions and concerns were answered. After surgery I knew exactly what to expect. Dr. D’Amore is an amazing professional and human being. From the first time I had a visit with up until my 3 month post op visit he has demonstrated great knowledge and expertise with my spinal condition. He is never in a rush to speak with you and is very thorough when explaining how he can best assist you. I had surgery in July of 2024 and at my 3 month mark I was pain free and able to enjoy my daily activities at almost 100%. I strongly recommend Dr. A’Amore to anyone who is in need of assistance with anything from minor back pain to spinal surgery.

I was in pain for 6 months due to an L3 L4 herniated disc with extreme pain radiating to my right leg. Tried therapy as well as two lumbar shots and found no relief. I had problems taking a shower as I could not stand in place for more than 30 seconds and could only walk for about 60 steps before needing to sit down due to the extreme nerve pain. Dr. D’ Amore was highly recommended and I met with him in November 2024.
He diagnosed my condition and recommended a minimally invasive discectomy. During the consultation he made me feel totally at ease, explained the procedure in detail and showed genuine empathy. He then said “Don’t worry we are going to take care of this”. On 12/16/2024 I underwent the hour long procedure and when I woke up I was pain free and able to walk without a walker. The next day he was calling me to see how I was doing. After (5) weeks post surgery I’m walking pain free and have had zero complications. Dr. D’ Amore has given me my life back!

My mother Judith Stevens had fallen breaking her wrist and her right hip while at home. Dr. Peter D’Amore MD what’s the doctor that did her surgery in Pembroke Pines Florida Memorial West Hospital. I would like to leave feedback so that you could get to know this doctor. Upon meeting the doctor, he was EXTREMELY NICE, humble and down to earth. He started going over the procedure in great detail to my surprise. I was shocked that he was so outgoing and so friendly. He demonstrated so much empathy. He was amazing. My 83-year-old mother was scared to death and the doctor immediately put us all at ease. To make a long story short everything that he said that he was going to do he did in fact accomplish successfully. He continued to be super friendly and down to earth. He followed up with her on a regular basis all through the healing process. He’s the most fantastic doctor I have ever met. If you or your family member is fortunate enough to meet this doctor you have nothing to worry about. He’s a young hot shot doctor and he knows exactly what he’s doing. The operation was a complete success, and my mother is walking as if it never happened. The technology is amazing. They replaced her hip and fixed her wrist without pens or screws. I feel like after this experience, we gained a new family friend. Seriously this doctor is a hot shot and he knows exactly what he’s doing yet he remains humble. He acts like he’s a friend of your family. I highly recommend this doctor. And if you’re reading this review Dr D’Amore, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping my mother. You are totally a rockstar.
