Ellen created our welcome bag name tags and also did the calligraphy on the details card for our wedding. Her work was lovely, and added a touch of elegance to our stationary. She is very easy to work with and really listened as I described what look I was going for, coming up with something even prettier than what I was envisioning! Highly recommended if you want to make your event that much more special. Many thumbs up!!!

My fiancé and I went to Ellen to calligraphy our wedding invitation envelopes. Her work is stunning and the invitations came out better than we could have hoped. Ellen was extremely professional and easy to get in contact with throughout the process. Her prices were comparable to others we had been quoted in New York and she was able to get them back to us ahead of schedule. We have already received tons of compliments on how beautiful our envelopes looked.

I own a stationery store and I enlisted Ellen to help me hand calligraphy name tags that I included as a special touch in customers' orders for a big sale I had. She worked with me to figure out what pen worked and looked best on the paper I provided (they were a little glossy so it was not easy!), and turned around the products in no time at all. The name tags were such a hit and I know people who have kept them years later!!! I'd recommend working with her 100% - total sweetheart and beautiful calligraphy!

Ellen is literally the most talented, patient, professional, thoughtful and sweet artist in the world. I was lucky enough to have her design place cards and signage for my baby shower. We collaborated on ideas and she was able to elevate all the designs with her special touch. Being 7 months pregnant at the time, I was obviously having difficutly being decisive but Ellen reassured me time and time again. I was able to have the baby shower of my dreams because of her. I would 1000000% recommend her for any event you have coming up where you want that extra touch of magic.

I recently took a Modern Calligraphy class with Ellen. Coming into this class, I had zero experience with calligraphy, and I am confident enough to say, I walked out with enough to continue to practice on my own. I know you can learn tutorials online, but having someone who is as knowledgable as Ellen, will definitely make (or break) your experience. I asked a lot of questions that she answered and helped clarified my curiosity. We received a lot of great tips and tricks. I am glad I took this class, so that I can bypass all the beginner mistakes and dive straight to practice!
