If you can get through the nastiness of the front office including the office manager, then you are in decent shape to see the doctor. The building itself is very nice, but their dress code inside is not very professional with office staff wearing sweatshirts. We were treated very rude from the minute we got there to the minute we were kicked out of the office due to a conversation I was having with my fiancé, that happened to be between us. (and a word was used to describe a staff member). If this is any reflection on what Dr Carlson considers professional staff, I was glad to be released sooner than later. Moving on!

University Family Healthcare will not provide you with a one-year prescription even for maintenance (thyroid) medication. My opinion is that this is because they are trying to get more money out of insurance and therefore raising all of our costs. I would not recommend going to this practice.

Says he takes insurance but when I tried to schedule I was told that they are not accepting insurance. I know this is in direct conflict with the contract that these doctors signed to be providers and credentialed with insurance companies. Should be terminated with their contracts. They only want self pay.
