I don’t like to leave bad reviews. Dr. Cohen is a good doctor. However he should NOT be accepting new patients if he will make us wait more than 2 hours to be seen. I’ll never come back. It happened the first time.
On my second appointment, I was supposed to be the first patient. When I arrived, he still had THREE people to see before me and he wasn’t even in the office yet! I just left.

I had an appt with Dr Cohen and waited two and a half hours before being moved to an exam room. A very rude woman came I instead and insisted I had no stones. They were identified at WP hospital. I went the next day to my family doctor and they confirmed kidney stones I was in a lot of pain and needed help. The woman was a PA in Cohen’s office pretty much called me a liar. I would not recommend this practice to anyone. After almost 3 1/2 hours there she was rude and dismissive. Dr Cohen was not even there that day and I asked why someone did not let me know to reschedule or go elsewhere, no answer.

I am deeply disappointed by the care provided by Dr. Daniel Cohen, especially considering the critical condition of my 33-year-old family member, who is battling Stage 4 cancer in the ICU with a UTI that has developed into sepsis. Dr. Cohen inserted bilateral ureteral stents into the patient despite their already compromised health, and despite the fact that the patient has a one-year-old child at home and a long list of medical issues.

What has been even more frustrating is Dr. Cohen’s lack of involvement and follow-up after the procedure. He never took the time to visit or check on the patient, and when complications arose, he refused to remove or replace the stents. Now, his office is stating that only he can remove them, and that no other urologist will touch the patient or take over the care, leaving us feeling completely stuck and without options.

Additionally, Dr. Cohen’s demeanor has been extremely unprofessional and unnerving. Prior to the surgery, he was wearing a backwards hat at the hospital, which added to an already concerning sense of how laid-back and dismissive he seemed about the gravity of the situation. His lackadaisical attitude, coupled with his negligence in patient care, has made a difficult time even more unbearable.

This entire experience has been horrendous, and I would strongly caution anyone seeking care from Dr. Cohen. His lack of responsibility, combined with his unprofessional demeanor, has left the patient in a much worse situation than before.

I had a disappointing experience with the Urology Center of Winter Park that I feel compelled to share. I initially met PA Janet Rodriguez while I was hospitalized, and I cannot say enough good things about her. She was excellent at keeping me informed about my condition and future surgeries, so I was optimistic about my care going forward.

However, my positive experience hit a snag when I met Dr. Daniel Cohen right before my surgery. While he was nice enough and answered all my questions, he seemed rushed and barely had time to address my concerns properly.

I was instructed by Janet to schedule a follow-up appointment at the Urology Center of Winter Park within a week after my hospital discharge. I arrived for that appointment six days later, and that’s where everything started to go downhill.

First, I waited in the waiting room for a staggering two and a half hours before I was called back. I've heard from others that this long wait is common at this office, which is incredibly frustrating for patients.

When I finally saw someone, APRN Sherly Poulose, the visit was shockingly brief. She came in, barely glanced at my history, and seemed irritated. Instead of engaging with me, she rushed through the appointment in about three minutes and appeared more interested in getting me out the door than in addressing my health concerns.

To make matters worse, I was told I would receive a call from scheduling within three days to set up my next surgery. After four days of silence, I reached out to them, only to hear the scheduler was busy and would call me back. After following up multiple times—each time being told they would return my call – I finally received a call two months later! They attributed the delay to needing insurance approval, which turned out to be completely untrue; I ended up finding a new urologist and had already had two surgeries by that point.

Overall, my experience was extremely frustrating, and I felt neglected as a patient. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this practice. They seem too busy to offer the care you deserve!

My dad had been going to this doctor for 3-4 years. Every time he went for an appointment it was a 3-4 hour wait to be seen by this doctor. The doctor was never apologetic about how bad this wait was. If anything he always made you feel as if he was doing you a favor for accepting you as a patient. His PA gave my dad a rushed procedure and the doctor without no accountability said to me dad “ that was rushed , we should waited before we did this procedure”. As a result of this rushed procedure, my dad peed blood for months and they never returned our calls for help. My dads last appointment was last week, his appointment was at 1:30 pm they took him in the exam room at 4:30 pm and the doctor NEVER came. My dad had to grab his chart and leave, he was done with Dr Cohen . The chart said positive for a very serious condition and we never got any calls to follow up with him or ask why he left. I don’t care how much research a doctor has done, at the end of the day they are here to help humans. He might be the best for his research. But he doesn’t have patience compassion and care for his patients. We wont be coming back. Be cautious before you pick him as your doctor.

Dr Cohen is an amazing Urologist / Oncologist. He has been treating me for bladder cancer for 3 years. Some reviewers have mentioned the wait times at the office. Well, he is extremely competent, great bedside manner, and takes the time to insure that all your questions are addressed. The office staff are very attentive. It is a busy office, but worth the wait.

The doctor is good , staff very unprofessional, they don’t care about your well being. They have no empathy. You schedule a procedure and they have the audacity to cancel same day because the insurance didn’t approve. Of course they know it is not approve before but they have no consideration with your time. Also for office visits be ready to wait at least 4 hours. They schedule so many people at the same time and you just wait like your time is less important than theirs.

Our time is important too. Sick people can’t be waiting in a waiting room 4-5 hours. Be considered.

Dr Daniel Cohen is one of the most UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE doctors I have EVER encountered. My mother was visiting FL from another country and needed an emergency procedure. Although I appreciate his efforts to perform this last minute procedure, his approach and attitude was very condescending. He entered the room in a backwards cap and sweatpants with a pleasant attitude. Greeted us and made us feel welcomed. The "act" only acted 30 seconds. He proceeded to explain follow up appointments and additional treatment after the procedure. Once my mother explained to him that she was from another country, his tone and attitude completely changed towards her. He completely BELITTLED her for being from another county (which happened to be the same country he's from LOL, seems like buddy forgot his roots). This made the rest of the experience VERY uncomfortable. My mother nor any patient deserves that kind of treatment.

The procedure was successfully performed, but unfortunately, LESS than 24 hours later, his billing department calls my mother to DEMAND the money needed from the procedure. My mother was STILL in pain and trying to recover and the only thing these heartless "providers" could think about was MONEY. Take off the backwards cap and sweatpants and show some professionalism. The money your office demanded will not contribute to your Red Ferrari.

He doesn't even deserve the 1 star I gave.

This WILL NOT be the last time this office will hear from me. I WILL be fighting this case of unprofessionalism.
