Great doctor, but terrible staff. They try to schedule multiple people within the same time, resulting to a horrible backup of time. I was scheduled for 4:00, and I waited patiently. Until I checked the time on my phone, saying 6:15. There was another man who was scheduled the same time as myself at 4, and even he wasn't called the entirety of my stay. He was there since 2:30, and the clock was hitting 6pm. Terrible staff, just absolutely terrible!! I don't even understand why they can't place multiple GI's to help things situate a lot better. I'd give this place an F-. I was left with no choice but for them to send my colonoscopy results to my Primary. F-, F-, F-, F-, F-, F-, F-, F-, F-, F-, F-, F-, F-, F-!!!!!!!!!!

Booked 4 months ahead and we waited over two hours to be seen. We were told by other patients that we were lucky as the wait is usually three to four hours! Medical care is a service that we pay for. Our time should be respected instead of over booking

Obviously you can’t expect five star service. I guarantee you the one five star review was from someone affiliated personally with this place.

No one answers phones, responds to e mails. I got an appt 3 months out for just a consultation to book a colonoscopy.

I show up on time for my 3:30 appt to find people sitting on the floor. It looked like an airport in a war torn country.

I cut my losses because I counted 36 people waiting and parking validation was only an hour. The receptionist was friendly in a way that conveyed that she was content in the misery all around her.

It was dirty and sad. I wouldn’t want any service provided by this place.

This was the worst doctor visit ever. To get the appointment I called for two weeks before getting someone on the phone. Then I sat in the waiting room for 3 hours before being seen by the doctor for only a few minutes. Unbelievable.

If you want to feel the experience of bad service, clueless staff, ignored, sitting for 2-3 hours for a meet and greet for 7 minutes BUT most of all being on hold then hung up on after 43 minutes on hold with no one to check back to let you know they haven’t forgotten about you and start the phone game again…..then this is the office to visit, trust me after all this you’ll need an upper GI FOR SURE! This staff and dr are so very unprofessional!!! FTPS!! Redirect immediately‍♀️?‍♂️RUN the other way!!! I had to give 1 star to be able to post this waste of time place!!

I’ll never know if Dr Brelian is the great doctor I’ve heard people say he is. Because I’m a clinic patient, and after reading other reviews, you can clearly see the delineation of treatment. The wait time of 2-3 HOURS for a 2-3 minute appointment, the rude staff, the lack of ANY water or nourishment available to a room full of sick patients, the pushing of procedures, the inability for me to even ask a simple question about my medication, the fact that the doctor sat on my positive results and delayed my treatment for weeks and never once apologized or explained, the fiasco around my colonoscopy/endoscopy (where I repeatedly told staff I felt sick, but they put me in a car anyway, assured me that nausea isn’t normal & will pass - I threw up & had an accident in my pants on the way home because they rushed me after the procedure before I was ready to leave), the overall lack of humanity.

This doctor is straight up abusing the health care system. NO reason for such waits, except for him to stack patients like cattle and run through as many in a day as he can. Despicable health care service. More like health don’t-care with this doctor and his very rude staff

6 months later: had to try to schedule an appointment here again. Staff flat out lied, saying I’ve missed 5 appointments. These lies impact my healthcare, and it is far beyond unacceptable.

Dr Brelian, you should be ashamed of how you & your staff treat patients. This is not health care, I see no care present from any of you.

I waited over 40 minutes over the phone and then disconnected.
I have an urgent referral (had to be done within 72 hrs) and the staff gave me an over 30 days wait!!!!! horrible. Don't even try this BS dr and staff! the worst!

Hands down one of the best gastroenterologist in Los Angeles, he has gone way beyond the call of duty with my situation, he not only found the issues that other gastros couldn’t but helped me get to the other side of issues, Dr. brelian has excellent bedside manners, he is genuine, kind hearted, witty..in my eyes this man can do no harm. For those complaining about the wait times, would you rather wait for excellence or be rushed by mediocrity?
