Best doctor I have ever been to! I've been going here for at least 5 years and have a lot of medical issues. He always makes sure to get to the bottom of any problems I have, he listens and is so nice! I can't recommend him enough. Anytime someone asks where they should go I always say Dr. Mcknight! His staff has always been nice and professional to me, I don't have to wait for a long time in the waiting room EVER. Truely the best, I don't know where I'd go if he closed!

Dr McKnight used to have an exceptional staff, but now his staff is incredibly rude and has hung up on me many times. I got a bill for an appointment I had nearly a year ago. I paid that bill the day I went to the appointment because the person on the staff that was extremely rude told me that because I did not have a new military ID I would have to reschedule or pay for the entire appointment because it would not go through my Tricare. She told me that I could not see Dr McKnight unless I paid the whole bill. So I did as I needed my synthroid medicine. So I paid the entire amount but I don't have the receipt or even know what card I used to pay it.
My point is it was almost a year ago and nobody said anything to me until a few days ago.
They did run it through my insurance even though they claimed that my insurance wouldn't take it because I didn't have a new military ID card.
Dr McKnight is an exceptional doctor and I think the world of him and he's been amazing.
But due to his staff and one of them routinely hanging up the phone and being rude to me I've made the decision to seek another healthcare provider.
I told them 2 days ago that I needed to speak to Dr McKnight and I have yet to get a phone call. I wanted to tell Dr McKnight the situation as I told him that day that I thought it was wrong for them to wait until I got there to tell me that I could not see him because I did not have a new ID card. Dr McKnight told me he was going to talk to them and make sure that they will make sure all veterans have a new military ID card before making an appointment.
I am done dealing with this extremely rude and incompetent staff that he now has so sadly I will no longer be a patient of Dr McKnight.
I earned my degree and became a certified medical assistant and the way the staff conducts themselves is against everything I learned as I got honors in college from my medical assistance degree.
If you don't mind dealing with an extremely rude and incompetent staff then by all means I am here to tell you Dr McKnight is an exceptional doctor and I used to think the world of his staff but I won't deal with his current staff anymore.
They will never again have the opportunity to hang up on me let alone twice dealing with an issue that was their mistake.

Amazing office staff, super easy and fast to get an appointment and Dr. Mcknight is amazing. Its obvious he cares about his patients and he is super friendly. Ive never waited more than 30 minutes to see him even when they were busy. He listens to everything I say even if it has nothing to do with what I originally came over there for. The only downfall is there office is kind of difficult to find but other than that they are amazing and I will never go to another doctor!

Dr. Mcknight and his staff are super friendly and down to earth. He's a brilliant doctor but explains things in layman's terms so I understand what is going on. My wait time to see him after I check in is always less than 10 minutes. And, he really cares about his patients. I'll recommend him to anyone who needs a PCP.

Dr. McKnight has been my family's physician for the past three years. He is always attentive, prompt, and takes the time needed to understand the problem. The staff have always been kind and caring. He is no harder to schedule with than any other physician in town.

I have been with Dr. Mc.Night for many years and I loved this doctor. 5 years ago I had a motorcycle accident in California and had to go though fixing process in California. Since I got back to town Doctor is refusing to take me back in! His policy is never take back patients that left. Well I have never left I was in medical hospital care in California and need some help since I am back in town and I am being refused this help! This is ridiculous, unethical and not professional. I was told I will get a phone call back for appointment and nope nothing! They can’t even call and decline in person! How was it there about Doctor swears to help anyone that is asking for his help? Not in Abilene! They only help you when you have PROPER insurance or fit his personal needs..........

Dr McKnight is such a excellent doctor but Charline Monroe need to be terminated asleep on the job at times or talking about inappropriate matters and swearing and talking about drugs. What a disgrace

The staff is caring. The nurses are great at listening. Dr. Mcknight takes time to listen to everything and explains things you don't understand. He never rushes you.
