Dr Fine and his team are amazing. He answered all my questions and was extremely helpful in guiding me to my next steps.
And yes he is busy, and yes you will have to wait to get an appt, however, its well worth the wait.
His team does the best they can with what they are working with. Almost all medical offices are short staffed and overworked, yet his team was more than pleasant and extremely helpful. So happy I was able to establish myself as one of his patients!

Dr Fine is very knowledgeable and a medical expert- he gets 5 stars. Sadly his administration staff - especially the “exit staff” are rude and unprofessional. I like to give more positive reviews than negative, my review history supports this. However, when there is blatant negative, offensive, disrespectful service, I call it out. Admin Staff you earned a 1 star. My experience parallels virtually all of the other concerning reviews for the past several years. This is an organizational issue and will not change. Buyer beware - this is an honest review and confirms previous negative reviews.

I want to thank Dr. Andrew Fine, neurosurgeon, and the Neurosurgery team.
My surgery was February 8th, 2024. I had a ruptured disc at C5 & C6, repaired by discectomy and fusion. It’s been almost 4 months. I should have written this review earlier, but life happens. Plus, I still am having a hard time believing the pain that I lived with for 15 yrs. is truly gone. No more pain! I feel wonderful! Yes, I am still recovering, bones are healing, but I feel so good that I must remind myself not to push too hard. I spent one night in hospital after surgery. After I left Sarasota Memorial, I took no pain medicines. Only took an occasional at bedtime over the counter Tylenol. For what I would call a little discomfort not pain. I felt great, was able to move around, walk around and even had a good time watching the Super Bowl, days after. After my 3-week visit I was able to drive.
After a month, I travelled by jet to visit family. I have walked 23K steps in Washington DC, ridden trains, and taken long bicycle rides again in D.C.
Before I picked Dr. Fine, every medical doctor strongly recommended Dr. Fine. My husband and I did the research and agreed he was the BEST NEUROSURGEN for this procedure. Plus, when I met him, I found a very calm, soft spoken, knowledgeable doctor, with great bedside manners.

First let me say Dr. Fine and Bret are amazing. But if you need to call the office for anything don’t expect anyone to answer the phone. You all be on hold forever . And don’t expect a return phone call if you leave a message with the office staff. My husband has been waiting over 2 months for a return phone call and for them to schedule an MRI. Bret told him to call the office if we needed anything and to schedule the MRI so I don’t understand why they are not getting the messages or returning our calls.

Dr Fine is an amazing surgeon. He saved my husband's life and got him to where he needed to be with a referral to USF. First one to survive tension pneumacephalus out of SMH. Thank you Dr. FINE!!! Your name fits you perfectly. Would have give 5 except we, too, had staff issues with office.

If I could give a zero or less star I would. I feel helpless and hopeless to help my family member get answers for his health. My husband who is in immense back pain was referred to this establishment and then they referred to a pain management doctor. We have lost hope in finding a competent doctor who can help him. We’ve been waiting for these clowns to send a referral to the new doctor for 2 weeks . We had to hound to get in here. —what a waste of effort and time.
I don’t know how long it takes to pick up the phone or send an email or place paperwork in a portal in the digital age we live in but avoid this place at all cost because you’ll leave just as you are. IN PAIN, NO ANSWERS. They have zero care or concern for patients or their wellbeing. New doctor won’t see him without the referral because they want the imaging. So not only are the lazy but we are held hostage by it. This office greets you with slow, inconsiderate individuals in the front office while the back office apparently can’t be bothered to do their jobs and send patients where they are supposed to go. We literally witnessed the staff have a rude argument because they didn’t know or want to do their job. In that moment I compared it to being at the DMV. The older I get the more I realize why Shirley MacLaine was screaming in the hospital. healthcare is a joke. As a business owner I can’t imagine running it like this. Looking over the reviews they don’t even care so I hope it just helps even one person avoid this place.

Dr Fine did surgery on my wife and my Father and takes time after the surgery and explained everything in great detail. I would highly recommend him and his staff. His office staff I talked to Cindy and Mindy was very helpful making sure we had what we needed before going in to see Dr Fine!

Sadly, I have to give the office staff of Dr. Fine a zero. They didn't mess things up once or twice, but three times starting with an MRI, second time with who I was going to see and third time canceling the appointment with the wrong person. The supervisor of scheduling did not return my phone call. In addition, no one answers the phone's. It's a very sad situation for people who are struggling with spine pain to not be able to talk to someone
