Dr. Sladek is extremely knowledgeable and attentive to all my medical question's. His expertise in rheumatology has served me well. His vast knowledge of medicine is obvious and his ability to provide answers to any questions is impressive. Truly remarkable and I am grateful to be his patient.

I was a patient of Dr Sladek for several years. I also know a lot of patients that were seeing him too. He told me and several of his patients that he was retiring. Instead Dr Sladek changed his office and changed his hours. Physicians must be honest and up front with his or her patients at the very least. I guess honesty with patients is not a value that this practice shares with others. It may be the best thing though because during the last couple of years, he seemed uninterested and bothered by his patients. This can be unsafe for patients. He seemed mentally ready to retire. But I guess a pay check is a pay check

Good Dr. However my husband was told Dr. Sladek was retiring about 2 years ago & he was to he would have to see a new Rheumatologist for this reason. My husband has seen him for at least the last 15 years. Come to find out he did not retire & appears to be choosing which patients he wants to continue seeing. Or his receptionist is. He moved to a different floor in the same medical building.My husband is very disappointed & doesn't understand Dr. Sladeks decision.

Dr. Sladek is the best Rheumatologist in central FL. I have seen him off and on for years. He saw me through PMR which was a very painful condition. And, he saw my sister through all her years of RA with having had multiple joint replacements. She did not like any of her Rheumatologists for years. I talked her into seeing Dr. Sladek and she was content staying with him the remainder of her life. I wish everybody could see Dr. Sladek. He is knowledgeable, not judgemental, laid back, listens to your story and complaints and gives you personal care unlike many doctors.

My doctor recommended me to Dr. Sladek. I called to make an appoint and the receptionist was unprofessional, abrasive and so unpleasant to speak with. After reading the reviews, I am thankful I did not make an appointment. If this doctor cares about his patients and business. I would read these reviews and restructure my office. She definitely needs effective communication and empathy training. I can not imagine the amount of new patients that this doctor is losing due to the interactions of this one person.

Hello, I have been coming here for a year now and I am feeling so much better. I was not treated well by two other doctors which caused me more pain than I probably should have endured. Dr. Sladek is an awesome Doctor! He's patient and listens to your concerns. He's always friendly and will encourage you to keep going even when you want to give up. Also, all of the emergency room doctors recommended him. THANK YOU. I wish those reading this pain free days! 🙂

I have been very satisfied with Dr. Sladek's care in the past. I now need to see him again but his office staff are saying I would be considered a new patient and he is not taking new patients. There is no reasoning with them.

Dr. SLADEK has been my doctor since 1996. I love him, he has always cared for my well-being and always made sure I was always approved for my medications. I want to thank him, his wife and Mimi his secretary. I pray to continue to be able to see him as my rheumatologist. He’s been with me through thick and thin of all my life. If you want a good doctor who’s compassionate and caring, he is the one. God bless him.
